He was Member, Governing Council in organizing the biggest National Culture Festival (Ministry of Human Resources and Development) ever Apna Utsav in 1986, as the only non-government person in the 5 Member Organizing Committee nominated by the then Hon?ble Prime Minister Sh. Rajiv Gandhi.

Besides, his social commitment is manifest in his active role as Secretary, Sarab Sanjha Khalsa 3rd Centenary Environment Trust, the only pioneer organization imparting environmental activities amongst the Sikhs and other communities as well as in his capacity as the Distt. Governor, Lions Club International Distt. 321 A2 in 1994?95.

To arrange and organize EYE + BLOOD DONATION camps.
